TnI Female Interval Update

Change to Female Troponin I Upper Reference Limit

Please be advised that, effective 1 August 2026, the upper reference limit (URL) for high-sensitivity Troponin I (hsTnI) in females will change to 12 ng/L.

This revision aligns the female URL with the 99th percentile reference limit established for the Beckman Coulter hsTnI assay, which is the method currently used across Pathlab laboratories.

There is no change to the male upper reference limit, which will remain 20 ng/L. The assay itself also remains unchanged.
